Those moments when celebrities have the spotlight and commit the worst crime ever – actually expressing their real views – are usually few & far between.

Every so often, we feel proud because they are saying what everybody else was thinking but was too scared/didn’t have the opportunity to say, however – other times we simply tweet those three little letters: SMH

I know you want some examples so lets go:

Lupe Fiasco

Lupe was being interviewed on CBS where there seemed to be a relaxed & chilled vibe, anyway, a few minutes in he was asked a question about terrorism and responded – making full clear that he felt President Obama was responsible for a lot of it and deeming him “the biggest terrorist [...] in the USA” sufficed to say people have reacted strongly to this – you can view the video by clicking here.

Donald Trump

Again with the Obama bashing? – Trump suggested that the President of the USA was a “bad student” who probably didn’t deserve to be admitted to the Ivy League universities he attended (these being Columbia & Harvard) this then lead to conspiracy of Obama’s citizenship in the United States & astonishingly, the release of his birth certificate to the public; which proved that he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Kanye West

This time it’s former US President George Bush that’s on the chopping block & unsurprisingly Kanye West is the object of our attention, and the words spoken were related to the natural disaster that caused great damage to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina hit the state in 2005.

The then president’s lackluster efforts to help the majority of the victims suffering were heavily frowned upon by West (and MANY others) and it seemed to be an extrememly sad “coincidence” that the victims in question were mostly of African descent (black people).

West, in the middle of a television appeal, let loose stating that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”

Eminem

Two words? Foolish Pride. Okay now more words discussing the poop-storm that followed the discovery of the song that goes by the title of those first two words.

A young Eminem, hurt after breaking up with his high school sweetheart, finds & dates another girl who goes by the same name as his ex. She even has some similarities to the ex, all except one thing, her race.

Yup – the new girl is black. Anyway, their “relationship” doesn’t work out and (as artists do) Em’ makes a song about his experience.

Everything sounds totally fine until you learn that the song contained lyrics that were considered racially offensive…”black girls are dumb & white girls are good chicks” – Em’ officially apologized & also has a song addressing the situation (Yellow Brick Road) after which people didn’t seem too mad…

Cheryl Cole

Unlike the above Eminem incident that has been forgotten about & seemed like an outburst from a young and frustrated guy that had just been unlucky in love, (c’mon his entire entourage & most of his friends are black!), Cheryl Cole (or is it Cheryl Tweedy again? I’m not sure…) is rumored to have directed a racial slur at a black lavatory attendant after getting into an altercation where in the public bathroom of a nightclub.

Now I did say rumored, & I wasn’t there so I don’t know the details – but it’s a story that will forever float around the internet and in conversions between people who disagree with the decisions CC (or CT) makes on the X-Factor.
