Reminding, that’s what we need. That things aren’t as grim as we imagine, that it probably isn’t as freezing a winter as we think, that we’re just a little thirsty, not starving.
And so spring finally kicks into gear, bringing with it London’s beautiful lines; the arches, the brickwork, the cobblestones – and before this turns into a musical, let me make my point: I’m thankful.
That this website is two years old, and for two years has maintained your support, that the warmer months are finally here and so I can whip out my sunshades and sandals – and for many reasons I could drone on about, that could probably win in a game of one upmanship with Ned Flanders…
Sometimes we simply need reminding – that even when times are tough, we’ve still got it good…
As a new year moves in, kicks up it’s feet and get’s acquainted with us, we wave farewell to 2012.
And an amazing 2012 it was! As a country, the UK has had everything from a Diamond Jubilee, to the London Olympics; which caused unified celebrations and weeks of plastered on smiles that even The Joker would be proud of.
And then there’s the music. In 2012, for me there have been plenty of gorgeous milestones of which I’m very thankful.
I’m thankful that these musical achievements have been embraced and fueled by fans of my music.
I’m thankful for the comments, “likes”, follows, views and live show attendee’s.
As it’s the beginning of a brand new month, I felt there was no better time to update you on what I’ve been up to lately…
Recent releases…
My 4-track EP REIFIER (released on April 30th) has had some great feedback and I wanted to officially say thank you! So thank you, to everyone of you that listened to it, shared it with friends, posted about it, rated it, purchased it online and gave me feedback. You guys rock!
The video for CTRL+ALT+DEL (track 4) was also very well received which is really exciting! I thought I’d leave the links here once again for anyone that might not have seen or heard them yet.

As you know, back in March, I flew to Sweden to perform (the image above is of me with some Swedish/Congolese dancers who also performed).
It was great fun & I hoped to get some footage & images to you that were recorded on the night, but unfortunately due to issues with the technical people at the event, I still haven’t been sent anything to show you. That sucks but there’s nothing I can do about it and anyway, the main point of going to Sweden was to raise money for charity which it was and I’m really pleased that I was a part of achieving that!

Remember the Adidas competition I had running from earlier this year in January? There was a winner! Her name is Cordel and she is from South London! Cordel was lucky enough to win the exclusive Adidas Decade trainers with the limited edition keyring!

I was hoping to have a picture of her to go along with the tweet, which was one of the reasons for the hold up, but I thought it was important to share this for everybody that entered (and anybody wondering whether or not there was a winner) . A huge thank you to everybody that did enter and that publicized the competition for me. Entrants really got creative with their answers so there were lots of giggles when selecting a winner!

WHOA! Literally! After just dropping the new track ‘I’m (Not) Sorry‘ last night, today the lovely DJ L Smoove got word of it – safe to say he’s not sorry he played it! – Wow, thank you so much!

If you didn’t already know, this brilliant show is one that helps to bring emerging artists to the forefront by showcasing exciting new talent and thankfully, these guys agree that this classification applies to me! Today I was featured once again on Amazing Radio - This time on a show called ‘Audition‘ hosted by DJ Charlie Ashcroft- it’s for emerging artists’ music to be judged by the masses (you guys) who vote for their ‘favourite track of the week’ – the most popular song will make it straight on to the Amazing Radio playlist!

I launched this site just yesterday & the feedback has left me (almost) speechless! You all loved it, which makes me happy because I love it too & a lot of work went into it so I’m thrilled it seems to have paid off.
My debut video was released yesterday also & everyone who has seen it has had nothing but positive feedback! I’m already reaching triple figure view counts in just one day! YEAH BABY!
